How to Decide Between Sieves and Other Equipment

The wire mesh strainer has two different designs. The first design has a metal mesh screen where the particles come coming out of. The metal mesh has holes going all through it. This design is more effective in breaking down larger solids and it can also reduce the particles from coming out of the screen. These kinds of strainers are normally quite bulky.

Another kind of strainer is the one without mesh screen. This kind of strainer is quite easy to clean because all you need is a sponge and a gentle dish soap to clean it. The only disadvantage is that it cannot reduce very large particles. It works well with very small particles. These are commonly used in restaurants to separate oils from the food before serving them.

If you use a mesh strainer, then there is a good chance that you will reduce the amount of dirt and other unwanted debris in your kitchen. They are usually made with a mesh size of one inch. A very effective way to clean these kinds of strainer basket is by using a hair dryer on high. The heat from the hair dryer will loosen up all of the dirt and debris that you can see in the mesh.

Sieves: The most common way to remove liquid from vegetables or fruits is by using a mesh sieve. The mesh sieve has a strainer that fits inside it. The strainer inside the sieve has a mesh size of between one and two inches. This strainer is usually made from metal that is very effective in removing solids from the liquid. This type of sieve can be attached directly to the bowl or the sink.
